Simulation Operations Specialist/Coordinator (Mercer University) at Orbis Education

Dominique James has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2013, they worked as an Emergency Room Scribe/Chief & Manager at CEP America, where they reviewed patients' medical records, managed communication, and conducted competency exams for trainees. From 2013 to 2017, they also served as a Lead Scribe and Travel Trainer at Vituity, where they oversaw the implementation of new scribe programs and trained staff on advanced software systems. In 2016, they participated in the Future Physician Leaders program at the University of California, Riverside, which included lectures, workshops, and community service projects. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Simulation Technician at the American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine, coordinating simulation set-ups and implementing testing methodologies. Dominique James began their education at the University of California, Riverside, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology. Dominique studied there from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, they attended the Southern California University of Health Sciences, focusing on Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies until 2014.

In 2019, Dominique enrolled at Grand Canyon University, completing a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from 2019 to 2021. Dominique continued their education at Grand Canyon University in 2022, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Project Management.

Dominique James also holds several additional certifications. In 2016, they acquired the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. In 2019, they obtained the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. During the same year, they also received a Certificate of Graduate Study in Medical Simulation from PCOM Georgia. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained certifications in "Account Management: Maintaining Relationships" and "What Is Business Analysis?" from LinkedIn.
