Kamika Smith

Kamika Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of instructional design. Kamika currently works as an Instructional Designer at Orbis Education since 2022. Previously, they worked at the College of Coastal Georgia from 2019 to 2022, where they collaborated with subject matter experts to design custom e-learning courses and support training efforts. Before that, they worked at Columbus State University from 2012 to 2019, where they served as an Administrative and Proctoring Coordinator, facilitating training workshops and coordinating captioning services. Kamika also worked as a Technology Coordinator, maintaining relationships with financial aid counselors and supervising technology assistants. Additionally, they have experience working as a Freelance Blogger at Miss Millennia Magazine LLC from 2016 to 2017.

Kamika Smith completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Columbus State University between 2007 and 2011. Kamika then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Education - MEd degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. In addition, they obtained a certification in "Applying the QM Rubric" from QM Quality Matters in the month of May 2020.
