Krista Escobar, CHES has a diverse range of work experience. Krista started their career as an Administrative Assistant at ABC Doula Service in October 2009, where they worked until February 2011. In April 2009, they co-founded Head Over Heels Birth Education and served as a Co-founder until December 2017. From August 2010 to March 2018, they worked at Legacy Health as both a Health Educator and an Administrative Assistant. At Providence Health & Services, Krista worked as a Maternal/Child Health Instructor from June 2007 to December 2018. From March 2018 to April 2020, they were an Outreach Community Health Worker at Wallace Medical Concern. Krista then worked as a Simulation Tech & Skills Lab Assistant at Mt. Hood Community College from January 2021 to March 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Simulation Operations Specialist at Orbis Education, starting in April 2023.

Krista Escobar, CHES, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Studies- Community Health Education from Portland State University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's Degree in Associate of Science from Mt. Hood Community College from 2015 to 2016. In addition, they also hold an Associate of Applied Arts in Commercial Photography from The Art Institutes, which they earned from 1999 to 2001. Krista Escobar completed their high school education at David Douglas High School, earning a High School Diploma from 1992 to 1996. Krista is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) accredited by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
