Sara Colvin

Sara Colvin has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant in the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at Ball State University. From 2012 to 2013, Sara served as a Substitute Teacher at Nettle Creek School Corporation, gaining experience in managing and guiding students of different grade levels.

In 2013, Sara joined Navient as a Customer Resolution Specialist, where they resolved customer issues and provided necessary support. Sara then transitioned to the role of a Default Prevention Specialist, where they counseled and educated student loan borrowers on their repayment options, effectively reducing delinquency and securing payments.

From 2014 to 2019, Sara worked at WebMD Health Services, initially as a Customer Service Representative and later as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Trainer. In their role as a Customer Service Representative, they assisted participants and handled escalations, while also mentoring incoming representatives. As a Quality Assurance Analyst and Trainer, they developed and executed training programs, interviewed and onboarded new employees, and analyzed client complaints.

Most recently, Sara has been working at Orbis Education since 2019. Starting as an E-Learning Developer I, they collaborated with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create and update learning materials for various courses. In their current role as an E-Learning Developer II, they continue to utilize their skills in creating interactive and engaging learning material, using tools like Articulate 360 programs, Microsoft Office, and Adobe products.

Sara Colvin holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Ball State University. In terms of additional certifications, Sara has obtained the certification of "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" from LinkedIn in February 2019. Additionally, they have completed the "Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant" program offered by AFPA American Fitness Professionals & Associates in November 2017. Sara also possesses a CPR/AED certification.
