Chance Claxton

Chance Claxton is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in leveraging design for mission-driven initiatives. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of ORBIS ELECTRIC since January 2025, Claxton previously held roles as Co-Founder, President, and Chief Branding Officer at ORBIS from August 2022 to January 2025. Claxton's expertise includes co-founding ORBIS Brakes, a company that innovated sustainable braking technology with contributions from NASA scientists, and leading BiOAID Inc. in developing health-focused products. Claxton's background also features co-founding U-Konserve, promoting waste-free solutions, and initiating a variety of design-focused ventures, including roles at Design Within Reach and Pentimento. Claxton holds a B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University and has studied at Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.
