Valeria Servranckx

Valeria Servranckx, MA, MPA has extensive experience in prospect research and fundraising in the nonprofit sector. Valeria most recently worked as the Associate Director of Prospect Research at Orbis International starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), including Senior Manager of Prospect Research and Manager of Prospect Research & Systems (Major Gifts). In these roles, Valeria was responsible for conducting research on donors, identifying prospects, and developing solicitation strategies. Valeria also managed a team of staff members and coordinated donor activity. Before joining MSF, Valeria served as the Development Manager at Kenya Education Fund, where they oversaw all aspects of fundraising. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, providing administrative support and assisting with research and development activities. Valeria's work experience spans over 20 years, demonstrating their expertise in fundraising and research in the nonprofit sector.

Valeria holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Nonprofit Management from Baruch College, which they earned from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from the John C Whitehead School of Diplomacy and IR, from 2001 to 2003. Valeria also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Valeria has obtained certifications such as the Staupell Prospect Management Certification from the Staupell Analytics Group and the Thunderbird Executive Leadership Academy certification from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
