Scientist II at Orbit Discovery

Eseoghene Ifie MMedSCI, PhD, is currently employed as a Scientist II at Orbit Discovery since November 2022. Previously, Eseoghene worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford from May 2019 to March 2022, focusing on investigating the blood-brain barrier within the IM2PACT consortium to enhance therapeutic access for neurological and neurodegenerative disorders. Additionally, Eseoghene served as a Postgraduate Research Assistant and Demonstrator at the University of Exeter from September 2016 to December 2017, supervising undergraduate practical modules in analytical chemistry, biology, and genetics. Early professional experience includes a role as an Administrative Officer at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry from August 2011 to June 2012. Eseoghene holds a PhD in Medical Studies from the University of Exeter, a Master's in Human Nutrition from the University of Sheffield, and a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Benin.
