Daniel Faber has an extensive work experience in the space industry. Daniel is currently the CEO of Orbit Fab, Inc. where they focus on providing satellite propellant in Earth Orbit, expanding operational potential and business model flexibility for satellite owners. In addition, they serve as an Advisor at Spaced Ventures and CEO at Space Arena.
Previously, Daniel served as the Chief Executive Officer at Deep Space Industries, leading the team in technology development, business strategies, and corporate operations. Daniel was also the Project Manager & Systems Engineer at ISIS - Innovative Solutions in Space BV, contributing to the development and implementation of low-cost spacecraft and nanosatellites.
Daniel has been actively involved in various other roles, including President and CTO at Heliocentric Technologies Inc, Director at Spacecore, and Co-Founder and Senior Advisor at Heliocentric ZA. Daniel has also worked as the QB50 Systems Engineer at von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics and Co-Founder, Business Development Manager, and Systems Engineer at Antarctic Broadband, where they played a key role in bringing high-speed internet to Antarctica.
Daniel Faber has a diverse education history. Daniel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) from UNSW, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued Antarctic Studies as a field of study and earned a Postgraduate Certificate from the University of Canterbury during this time. Later, in 2011, they delved into the domain of Space Development: Theory & Practice and obtained a specific degree from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Continuing their academic journey, Faber pursued two Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. Daniel attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2018 to 2019 and the National University of Singapore from the same period, specializing in Business Administration.
