Dr. Franz MJ Pfister, MD, MBA

Dr. Franz MJ Pfister has an extensive work experience in various fields. In 2008, they worked as a Research Fellow at both Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Technische Universität München, where they conducted research in the field of neuroscience. From 2014 to 2017, they served as a Resident in the Department of Neurology at Schön Klinik.

In 2016, Dr. Pfister became a Research Affiliate at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, further expanding their research expertise. Dr. Franz MJ then founded Digital Helix in 2017, focusing on digital transformation and management.

In 2018, they joined KI Bundesverband e.V. as a Core Team Task Force Health AI. Additionally, they became a Board Member at Ocean Protocol in 2019 and played a significant role in developing healthcare use cases that involved secure health data sharing.

Dr. Pfister also took on the role of Lecturer at Munich Business School from 2019 to 2021, teaching courses on digital business transformation and management. Moreover, they co-founded Orbit Health in 2021, a digital platform specializing in chronic disease management and leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Notably, Dr. Pfister is currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of deepc, a position they have held since 2019.

Dr. Franz MJ then attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Dr. Pfister continued their education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in General Management from Munich Business School. Dr. Pfister also participated in an exchange program on Global Dynamics and New Growth Paradigms at Singapore Management University and an exchange program on Internationalizing European Companies at SDA Bocconi.
