Saminas Seyfu (He / His / Him)

Saminas Seyfu has been working in the marketing, partnerships, and community development space since 2010. Saminas began his career as a banker at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, working his way up to a managerial position. In 2015, they joined the African Union as a fundraising officer for the AU Foundation, where they were responsible for researching, identifying, and cultivating relationships with prospective new individuals and major donors. In 2018, he moved on to The xHub Innovative Society as the EMS Program and Community Development Coordinator. In 2019, he became the Manager of Marketing and Partnership at Tor Events and Records plc, where he was responsible for planning and organizing promotional, business, and social events. Currently, he works for both Orbit Health and Orbit Innovation Hub as the Director of Marketing, Partnerships, and Community Development, driving the marketing strategy and continuously developing partners and collaborators.

Saminas Seyfu is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of the People. Prior to this, he obtained a certificate in public management from Arizona State University. Saminas also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Management from Debre Berhan University, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, he has obtained certifications from the IDEP (African Institute for Economic Development and Planning), the National Institute of Bank Management, the Center for African Leadership Studies, the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps, and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
