Corey Northcutt has had a long and successful career in the tech industry. In 2004, they founded Ubiquity Hosting, a managed web hosting provider, which was later acquired by Leaseweb USA Inc. In 2005, they co-founded Ubiquity Server Solutions, a provider of colocation, self-managed servers, IP transit, and other network services from private data centers in six major markets. This company was also acquired by Leaseweb USA Inc. In 2006, they became the Managing Partner and CCO of DarkStar Communications, an esports brand offering Ventrilo, Teamspeak, game servers, and other services. Corey led the company to become the largest Ventrilo provider in the world with about 60,000 all-time paying subscribers. Corey also acted as Managing Partner and CCO of Nobis Technology Group, LLC, a holding company for EdibleHost, MaximumVoice, Ventrilo1, Ubiquity. io, My Web Hut, freewebsitehost. net, and dozens of smaller experiments and acquisitions. In 2010, they founded Northcutt, an SEO agency known for fact-checking all of Google’s ranking factors, the 1,200-step SEO audit, and consultants for brands like McDonald’s, Batteries+, and Assurant. This company was later acquired. Currently, Corey Northcutt is the Chief Optimization Officer at Orbit Media Studios.

Corey Northcutt obtained a B.S. in Information Systems, Analyst Sequence from Illinois State University between 2004 and 2007. In 2011, they obtained a Google Ads: Advanced Search Marketing certification from Google. In 2013, they obtained a Google Analytics: IQ certification from Google.
