Tim Alatorre has over a decade of work experience in the field of architecture. In 2006, they started working as a Project Manager, specializing in residential design and commercial architecture, at Flynn, Craig & Grant, Architects Inc. Tim also served as the President and Executive Editor of sloArch.com, a news and entertainment site dedicated to the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Architecture community, from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, they became a Project Architect at FCGA Architecture, where they managed various projects. Tim Alatorre founded their own firm, Tim Alatorre Design and Consulting, in 2009 and served as its Owner until 2010. Tim then joined RLS Inc. as a Project Manager from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they worked at Elee Tsai Architect in 2009 as a Senior Project Manager and Revit Transition Specialist, where they developed Revit templates and standards. In 2012, Tim Alatorre founded Domum and became its Founder and Principal Architect, managing all phases of design, documentation, and construction, as well as building successful project teams. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a member of the Architectural Design Review Committee and Planning Commissioner at the City of Rocklin. Currently, Tim Alatorre is a Co-founder, COO, and Chair of the Board at Orbital Assembly, a company focused on space architecture and construction.

Tim Alatorre attended Apple Valley High School from 1994 to 1998. Tim then pursued a Bachelor of Architecture degree at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1998 to 2006.
