Martin Erdley

Martin Erdley serves as the Director of Substation Services at Orbital Engineering, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Martin held various positions at Duquesne Light Company from June 2013 to March 2023, including General Manager of Operations Technology Business Support and Senior Manager of Project Management, and was involved in leading the Long Term Infrastructure Improvement Plan as a Lead Substation Engineer. Martin's early career included roles as a Maintenance Planning Engineer and Substation Design Engineer focused on technical practices related to substation devices. Martin's foundational experience began as an Engineering Intern at Allegheny Field Services, alongside previous managerial experience at The Conference Center at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Educational accomplishments include a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
