Ziting Zhu

Ziting Zhu is a researcher at Orbital since September 2025, focusing on the development of innovative polymer materials for direct air capture applications, contributing to sustainability initiatives and collaborating with computational chemists and machine learning teams to enhance materials discovery. Prior to this role, Ziting Zhu served as a postdoctoral researcher at Berkeley Lab from November 2023 to August 2025 and as a project leader at Soochow University from July 2020 to August 2021. Ziting Zhu's academic background includes a PhD in CO2 capture technology from the University of California, Berkeley (August 2017 - October 2023) and a BS in theoretical chemistry from Nanjing University (September 2013 - August 2017), along with experience as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge in early 2016.
