Charles M. Fernandez

Charles M. Fernandez has held a range of executive roles in the corporate world since 1996. Charles M. began their career as a Director, Shareholder, and Chairman of the Audit Committee at IVAX Corporation, where they supervised all accounting, legal, and regulatory activities. Charles M. then co-founded Continucare Corporation, where they served as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer. In 1999, they became President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Big City Radio, successfully restructuring the company from the brink of bankruptcy and doubling its asset value. In 2003, they co-founded Lakeview Health Systems, LLC, where they served as Co-Founder, Principal Shareholder, Chairman, and President and CEO. In 2008, they became President of Fairholme Capital Management LLC, overseeing a team of investors and managing the Fairholme Fund as it grew from $4 billion to more than $15 billion. In 2012, they founded Barnstar Funds, LP and in 2016 they became Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of eApeiron Solutions, a brand protection and e-commerce company. In 2019, they became a Member of the Supervisory Board at Smartrac - an Avery Dennison company. Most recently, in 2021, they became Chairman & CEO of NextPlat, a global e-commerce platform company.

Charles M. Fernandez attended Florida International University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in a double major of Finance and International Business.
