Mikael Bergman

Mikael Bergman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mikael is currently the CTO at Orbital UAV since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Husqvarna Group for a significant portion of their career. Mikael'sroles at Husqvarna Group include Senior Technical Advisor, where they focused on the overall technical roadmap and architecture, system requirements, and major product technology areas. Mikael also served as the Manager Global Engine, overseeing three departments and leading research and development programs. Previously, they were the Manager Petrol Engine, heading an engine performance group and focusing on knowledge building and transfer. Mikael started their career at Husqvarna as a Senior Research Engineer, where they worked as a project manager in the engine development department. Before joining Husqvarna Group, Mikael worked at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they held roles such as Manager Engine Laboratory and Laboratory Assistant and Teacher.

Mikael Bergman holds a Master's Degree in Machine Design/Internal Combustion Engine from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, obtained in 1999. Mikael has also pursued Ph.D. studies in Internal Combustion Engine at KTH Royal Institute of Technology since 2015, although the disputation has not been completed. In addition, Mikael has obtained certifications in "Strategy: A History (getAbstract Summary)" and "Prompt Engineering: How to Talk to the AIs" from LinkedIn, in the year 2023.
