Karl Connolly

Karl Connolly, MBA, is an experienced senior executive with a robust background in engineering and manufacturing. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Global Director of Engineering and Manufacturing at Orbit since December 2007, Karl oversees manufacturing, maintenance, and product development engineering initiatives. Prior to Orbit, Karl held the position of Division Manager at Petersen Inc., overseeing a large manufacturing facility and a significant workforce. Karl's earlier career at Autoliv spanned over a decade, where roles included Applications Engineering Manager and Operations Manager, managing design and manufacturing operations. Beginning in manufacturing engineering at United Airlines, Karl developed automated processes that significantly reduced cycle times. Karl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University and an MBA with a focus on Lean Manufacturing from Utah State University.
