Tal Kol

Tal Kol has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Tal is currently serving as an Ambassador for the TON Foundation, a role in which they support the decentralized TON community. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Pi Finance UK.

Tal also has experience in the blockchain industry, having co-founded Orbs, where they led the blockchain technology, engineering, and product strategy. Tal also served as the Head of Kin Engineering at Kik Interactive, Inc., where they were responsible for the engineering and blockchain infrastructure for the decentralized ecosystem.

Before their involvement in the blockchain industry, Tal worked at Wix.com as the Head of Mobile Engineering and later as the Mobile Apps Lead Architect. Tal also co-founded Appixia, an acquired mobile commerce platform, where they served as the Co-Founder and VP R&D.

Tal's career began in the Israel Defense Forces, where they held various positions as a software team lead. Tal served in unit 8200 and was an officer and team lead in software and networking R&D positions.

Tal Kol received a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, Tal pursued Computer Science at The Open University of Israel, although they did not complete a degree during this period.
