Dor Raviv

Dor Raviv has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they co-founded Orca AI and served as the CTO. Prior to that, they worked at Israeli Navy starting from 2009 as the Unmanned Autonomous Ships PMO-Reserves, where they led the project from lab to operational missions. In 2017, they worked at OrCam as a Deep Learning Data Engineer, focusing on developing deep learning and computer vision algorithms. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Cortica, initially as a Data Mining Engineer and later as the Data Engineering Team Lead, where they developed analytical and statistical tools using predictive analytics methods.

Dor Raviv pursued their education in two different institutions. From 2011 until 2015, they attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, with a specialization in Database Management. Prior to that, they studied at Blich from 2002 to 2006, where they explored subjects related to Physics and History. In addition to their formal education, Dor Raviv also obtained certifications in other areas. In December 2009, they acquired a Skippers licence from Via Maris - דרך הים, and in November 2009, they gained a Scuba Diver 2 Stars certification from PADI.
