Amy Putnam is an experienced professional in the field of cell therapy and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing and GMP Operations at Orca Bio since September 2019, Amy has also been working as a consultant focused on cell therapy manufacturing since January 2019. Prior to this, Amy held a specialist position at UCSF from April 2005 to February 2019, where responsibilities included oversight and manufacturing of purified and ex vivo expanded regulatory T cells (Tregs) for treating recent onset type 1 diabetes and lupus, as well as donor alloantigen reactive Tregs for liver and kidney transplant recipients to prevent rejection. Amy completed a degree at Eckerd College from 1994 to 1998.
