Sara Bell

Sara Bell is a qualified professional with extensive experience in quality control and research within the biotechnology field. Currently serving as a Quality Control Scientist at Orca Bio since June 2023, previous roles include Quality Control Associate at the same organization and Lab and Facilities Assistant at Startup Sandbox. Sara's tenure at Ontera spanned nearly three years, during which optimization of RT-qPCR conditions and analysis of single-molecule data were key achievements. Additional experience includes working as a Laboratory Technician at Germains Seed Technology and multiple academic roles at California State University, Monterey Bay, providing support in statistical topics and tutoring. Sara holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from San José State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Monterey Bay.
