Jamie Francis-Jones

Robert Francis-Jones is currently serving as the Head of Hardware at ORCA Computing since September 2019. Prior to this, Robert held positions as a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford from March 2018 to December 2019, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Bath from October 2015 to January 2018. Robert also has experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Bath and completed a Summer Studentship at Gloucester Royal Hospital in 2011. Robert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Quantum Optics and Single Photon sources from the University of Bath and a MSci (Hons.) in Natural Sciences, Physics with Chemistry from the same institution. Robert attended Alcester Grammar School from 2006 to 2008.
