David Alonso de la Torre

David Alonso de la Torre is an Embedded Software Engineer at Orca since February 2022, with previous experience as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at SIDISEL, where responsibilities included area organization and decision-making concerning protocols, technologies, and architecture, as well as process optimization for Industry 4.0. Prior to that, David worked as a Junior Engineer at GMV, focusing on C/C++ development for Linux-based embedded systems and video surveillance systems. David also contributed to the engineering team at SIDISEL for both a final degree project and an internship, developing new embedded devices based on microcontrollers and microprocessors. David holds a Master's degree in Industry 4.0 from UNIR and a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad de Valladolid, and is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional International Certification at INESEM Business School.
