Brendan Thatcher

Brendan Thatcher is a seasoned UX Researcher with extensive freelance experience, currently working with Orcasound since January 2020. Brendan's expertise includes qualitative usability testing, user interviewing, and card sort studies. Previous roles include UX Researcher at DemocracyLab, where qualitative survey synthesis and user interviewing were utilized, and research contributions to Randstad USA, which achieved significant user engagement and efficiency improvements. Brendan has also worked with Planet Technology, where recommendations led to enhanced CPAP device use, and contributed to Google Cloud Platform projects as a UX Research Associate. Brendan's earlier career includes roles in finance, media production, and research for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, resulting in multiple scientific publications. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University.
