Michael Lorenzo is an accomplished biomedical engineer with extensive experience in product development for cardiovascular and laparoscopic medical devices. Currently serving as a Product Development Staff Engineer at Orchestra BioMed since May 2020, Michael is actively involved in the development of the Virtue® Sirolimus AngioInfusion Balloon System and the FreeHold® Surgical Hands-Free Intracorporeal Retractor. Previously, Michael held various engineering roles at Zimmer Biomet and Biomet, leading efforts on orthopedic trauma medical devices, and contributed significantly as an Engineering Intern. Michael holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami.
