Eric Shapiro

Eric Shapiro currently serves as a Life Sciences Information Technology Subject Matter Expert at Orchestra Life Sciences, a position held since September 2025. From June 2019, Eric has also been a Board Member and Treasurer for Upper Dublin Aquatic Club (UDAC). Prior to this, Eric held various leadership roles in the biotechnology sector, including Executive Director of Cell Manufacturing IT at Iovance Biotherapeutics, where responsibilities included manufacturing and quality system implementations, and preparation for biologic application approvals. Previous experiences include Senior Director at Adaptimmune, Vice President and CIO at Unilife Corporation, and various IT leadership positions at Airgas and Teva Pharmaceuticals. Eric holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.S. in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
