David Luan is a technology leader currently serving as the VP of the Autonomy Team and Head of the AGI SF Lab at Amazon. They were previously the CEO and founding team member of Adept AI Labs, and they led significant projects at Google Research and OpenAI, focusing on machine learning and AI ethics. David gained early experience in computer vision during their time at iRobot and later served as Director of AI at Axon, where they championed transparency in law enforcement technologies. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Political Science from Yale University.
