Orchestre Philharmonique de Paris-Est

This orchestra was founded in 2010 with the help of students and professors in Eastern Paris higher education establishments, notably the school of (Point Chasees Civil Engineering, and Marne La Vallee University. It comprises 50 permanent members and 30 non-permanent members. All the musicians are graduates or students at National Conservatoire or French Schools of Music such as: The National Conservatoire for French Music in Paris, national Conservatories in Paris, Rueil-Malmaison, Aubervilliers, Cergy, Versailles, Saint Maure, and universities such as the Sorbonne, Nanterre, Marne la Vallee.
