Jon Rydberg

Jon Rydberg has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Jon is the founder and CEO of Orchid LLC, a holding company focused on technology, credit card processing, and professional services. Jon also founded and led Pearly Gates as CEO. Jon served as an investor and part of the executive group at App Cohesion, where they played a role in developing the functional blueprint and customer integration strategy. In addition, they founded and served as CEO of Gearfire Payments and played a key role in its significant growth. Jon was the Chief Executive Officer and Financier at Retail Technology Group, where they led the company to its most significant growth and profitability increase. Prior to these roles, Jon worked as the Chief Compliance Officer at Smith & Wesson, managing a prominent DOJ/SEC matter, and as the Chief Marketing Officer at Ticket Network, increasing B2C ticket sales significantly. Before entering the private sector, Jon worked at Protiviti as a Managing Director, co-leading the Manufacturing, Distribution, and Technology practice. Jon also served as a Senior Manager at EY, advising public company executives on technology, process control, and supply chain management. Jon began their career as a Corporate Finance Specialist at United Technologies Corporation.

Jon Rydberg attended Avon Old Farms School from 1987 to 1991, where they completed their high school education. In 1991, they enrolled at Bucknell University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Afterward, they pursued further education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Corporate Finance.
