Derek Long

Derek Long has a diverse work history that includes roles in the insurance industry and academia. Their experience began with an internship at Staub, Riggs & Collins Insurance in 2010, followed by roles at Nationwide Insurance starting in 2012. Derek eventually transitioned to Orchid Insurance in 2015, where they held various positions such as Operations Analyst, Senior Product Analyst, Program Leader, and currently serves as a Director of Strategy Execution. In addition to their industry experience, Derek also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Temple University in 2012.

Derek Long obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Actuarial Science from Temple University between 2007 and 2012.
