Sukmar Ramanan

Sukmar Ramanan has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions since January 2020. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Arconic Fastening Systems, where Sukmar managed a team of 30 project engineers, and Plant Manager at Alcoa Fastening Systems & Rings, overseeing a 120-employee operation with full P&L responsibility. Previously, Sukmar held various managerial positions at SPS Fastener Division, Precision Castparts, and Huck International, demonstrating a strong background in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and capital project justification. Sukmar holds an MBA in Finance from California State University, Long Beach, and two master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
