Langley Willis has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. They began their career in 1991 as an Assistant Manager at the Beaumont Hotel, where they gained experience in managing staff and overseeing hotel operations. From 1992 to 1995, Langley worked as a Site Manager at Premier Leisure, responsible for coordinating and running activity days.

In 1995, Langley joined Vickers Defence Systems as a Graduate Trainee, where they gained exposure to various departments and completed projects including the implementation of the company's first intranet and electronic filing system. They later became a Systems Implementer, managing and delivering IT/IS solutions and leading project teams.

After leaving Vickers in 2001, Langley worked as a Senior Consultant at Systems Management International, focusing on internal initiatives and developing strategic alliances. In 2002, they founded Think Solutions, a company providing ITIL consultancy to large organizations. During their time at Think Solutions, Langley secured contracts with blue-chip companies such as Diageo and Barclays Capital.

Since 2004, Langley has been working at Oak Intranet as the Director. In this role, they are responsible for product development, client management, project management, and consultancy. They work closely with the senior management team to shape the company's strategy and drive business growth. Oak Intranet's software solution, Orchidnet, is used by over 100,000 people daily, including well-known organizations like ITV, Ford, and Comic Relief.

Langley Willis obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Elizabeth High School Hexham, which they attended from 1986 to 1991. Langley further pursued their education at Northumbria University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1992 to 1997. Langley then continued their studies at Northumbria University and successfully completed a Master's Degree in Computing from 1997 to 2000.
