Maxwell Silver

Maxwell Silver is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with a robust background in software engineering and scientific leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Bioinformatics Engineer at Orchid since July 2024, Maxwell previously held key positions at AccuraGen and Phosphorus, where significant achievements included designing comprehensive database systems, automating data pipelines, and managing interdisciplinary teams. Maxwell's earlier experience also encompasses roles as a Senior Computational Geneticist at GenePeeks, Inc., as well as internships focused on data analysis and research at Grevy's Zebra Trust and California Cryobank LLC. An alumnus of Princeton University, Maxwell earned an A.B. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
