Alexandru Stirbu

Alexandru Știrbu is an AI Scientist II at Ordaos Bio, where work focuses on advanced AI models for applications in drug design, protein binding, and the generation and property prediction of mini-proteins, utilizing state-of-the-art models in PyTorch. Previously, Alexandru held the role of Machine Learning Engineer at Soleadify, enabling and deploying machine learning models for automated data scraping from websites and fine-tuning various models for product property prediction. Earlier experience includes a position as Software Engineer I at Bentley Systems, contributing to the Open Tunnel Design team on functionalities for automating tunnel structure creation and support placement. Alexandru holds a Master's degree in Research in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași.
