Joana Carvalho is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in teaching, training, and psychological intervention. Currently serving as a Professora Convidada at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga since September 2019 and a Formadora with Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses since November 2014, Joana specializes in psychological intervention in disaster situations. Joana has maintained a private clinical practice since May 2002, focusing on psychological assessment, individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, as well as psychodrama. Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses
The Ordem dos Psicólogos is a psychologist organization with more than 18.000 registered professionals, representing all Portuguese psychologists. The Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) is the only organization responsible for the professional title in Portugal. The membership is mandatory. OPP is the Portuguese authority for professional recognition regarding the European professional mobility Directive.
