Rita Francisco

Rita Francisco is a seasoned professional in psychology and well-being, currently serving as a Consultant in the area of Literacy, Health, and Well-being at Direção-Geral da Saúde since February 2023, and as a member of the Advisory Council of the Southern Regional Delegation of Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses since July 2022. As an Assistant Professor at the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas - Universidade Católica Portuguesa since September 2012, Rita has contributed significantly to various postgraduate programs and directed the Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing from 2017 to 2023. With prior experience in COVID-19 risk perception initiatives and an academic background that includes a PhD in Psychology from the University of Lisbon, Rita has also held positions at institutions such as the University of Lisbon and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, contributing to the education and psychological care sectors across diverse communities.
