Candice Lewis

Candice Lewis is the Talent Coordinator at Order Desk. Candice has held this position since August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Recruitment Manager at Apax Leaders from March 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for CV screening, interviewing suitable candidates, reference checks, drafting offers, and candidate communication. Candice also managed the Recruitment Coordinator, supported teachers through the document authentication and visa process, worked closely with the Teacher Management Department and Training Department, and on-boarded candidates. In addition, they facilitated centre placement, met new teachers on their first day of training, attended weekly manager meetings, and completed weekly and monthly recruitment reporting, including recruitment forecasting. Candice also implemented recruitment projects with deadlines, managed the teacher pipeline, and conducted internal recruitment for teacher transfers. Finally, they managed exit interviews and the legal work permit/visa document process for Head Teacher Recruitment.

Before their role as Recruitment Manager, Ms. Lewis was an ESL Teacher at Apax Leaders from January 2018 to March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Capitec Bank from May 2017 to March 2018, and as a Recruiter at Clicks Group from May 2016 to April 2017.

Candice Lewis has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Western Cape, as well as a National Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of South Africa.

They work with Fabien Oram - Integration Lead, Adam Walker - Support Lead, and Ekin Bayar - Senior Developer. Candice Lewis reports to David Hollander, Founder.
