Mark Ecock is a seasoned software engineer at IBM since July 2004, specializing in QA and automation, with prior experience as a server technician focusing on hardware and software debugging. Mark has been an Army Reserve Medic with the Defence Forces of Ireland since June 1995, and an Emergency Medical Technician with the Order of Malta since April 2008. Previous roles include Debug Technician at Motorola from June 2001 to October 2002, responsible for component-level debugging. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Digital and Software Systems Engineering from Technological University Dublin and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology respectively. Additionally, Mark earned a Master's degree in Advanced Software Development and another Master's in Development for Operations from Technological University Dublin.

Order of Malta
The Order of Malta runs medical, social and humanitarian projects in 120 countries. A sovereign subject of international law and a lay religious order of the Catholic Church, it has bilateral diplomatic relations with over 100 States, permanent observer status at the United Nations, the European Union and numerous international organisations. The Order of Malta is especially involved in helping victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by providing medical assistance, caring for refugees, and distributing medicines and basic equipment for survival. The Order’s 13,500 members, 95,000 volunteers and over 52,000 employed personnel are dedicated to the care of all those who suffer, regardless of race or religion. The Order of Malta is neutral, impartial and apolitical.
