Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America

The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) is the largest national organization of Italian American men and women, dedicated to promoting Italian American culture, traditions, and contributions to the U.S. and the world. Founded in 1905, OSDIA now has more than 600,000 members and supporters, making it the leading service and advocacy organization for people of Italian descent. The Sons of Italy Foundation® (SIF), OSDIA's philanthropic arm, has given nearly $112 Million to scholarships, medical research, cultural preservation, disaster relief, and other causes. The Commission for Social Justice® (CSJ), the anti-defamation arm of OSDIA, fights racism, prejudice, and the stereotyping of Italians and Italian Americans. OSDIA's official publication, "Italian America" magazine, is the most widely read quarterly for people of Italian heritage in the United States.
