Alyson Murphy

Alyson Murphy has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2011. That year, they worked as a Tutor for the Higher Education Opportunity Program and as a Fundraising and Development Intern for the Community Food and Justice Coalition. In 2013, they began working as a Teaching Assistant for P.S. 77 Lower Lab School. In 2014, they worked as a Program Assistant for the Lower Lab Afterschool Program. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Supervisor, People & Culture Manager, People & Culture Specialist, Senior Culture Ambassador, and OG Culture Ambassador for the Lower Lab Afterschool Program.

Alyson Murphy attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory from 2005 to 2009. Alyson then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Psychology Minor from Fordham University in 2013. In 2015, they completed their Master of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Hunter College. In March 2020, they obtained an Entelo Basics Certification from Entelo.
