Clara Nelson

Clara Nelson has held multiple positions in the tech industry since 2015. In 2015, they were a Temporary Assistant at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. In 2016, they were a Construction Engineering Intern at Crown Castle. In 2017, they were an Intern at TranSystems. In 2018, they were a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2019, they were a Full Stack Developer and a Graduate Advanced Technology and Research Analyst at Arup. Her role as Full Stack Developer included developing endpoints in Python for API using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, independently maintaining and adding features to Python automation, and scoping, estimating, and completing new Python automation projects for internal clients. In 2021, they are currently a Software Engineer on both the Merchant Experiences Team and the Partnerships Team at Ordergroove.

Clara Nelson attended Notre Dame High School from 2011 to 2014, earning their high school diploma. Clara then attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2014 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. After that, they returned to Carnegie Mellon University and obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Advanced Infrastructure Systems) in 2019.
