Gabor Somogyvari

Gabor Somogyvari has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Gabor began as a Chef de Partie at Hilton in 2010, followed by a role as a Junior Sous Chef at Wild Garlic Restaurant, Tapas Bar & Rooms in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Sous Chef at the Royal Society of Medicine and also owned their own business called Gabor's Kitchen. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Chef, providing relief work in various professional kitchens across London. Some notable companies they worked for during this time include Mandarin Oriental, Hilton Park Lane, and Intercontinental Park Lane. In 2014, Gabor joined J.P. Morgan as a Private Chef, where they provided Michelin-standard dining services to managing directors and executive business clients. Gabor then worked as a Consultant at West One Hotel & Catering Consultancy from 2015 to 2016. Gabor's next role was as a Catering Sales Manager at Zsidai Group, a leading Hungarian hospitality company, where they helped bring Hungarian gastronomy back to the international forefront. Gabor then worked as a Catering Manager at EUREST Kft. from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Gabor is the Head of Sales at Ordit Food Delivery & Catering, a position they have held since July 2019.

Gabor Somogyvari obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economist in Tourism and Hospitality from the University of Pannonia, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In 2009 and 2010, they also pursued studies in Cooking and Related Culinary Arts, General at the Hungarian National Caterers Association. Prior to that, they attended Reformed Lyceum, Godollo from 1999 to 2005, where they completed their High School education. Additionally, Gabor has obtained various certifications in Competitive Strategy from Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Digital Marketing from the University of Southampton, Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice QCF (CertRP) from the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) - Members Only Group, and Straight Line Persuasion from Global Motivation Inc.
