Bernard McVerry

Bernard McVerry is a seasoned Geomatics Surveyor currently employed at Ordnance Survey Ireland since February 2023. Bernard's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at UTEC NCS Survey Limited from June 2007 to February 2023, where roles included Survey Party Chief and Offshore Surveyor, focusing on offshore installations and surveying activities such as data collection via global positioning systems and sonar technology. Early career experiences include trainee roles at Mc Allister Bros LTD and during a summer placement at Gaz De France, contributing to hydrographic surveying and equipment calibration. Bernard holds a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping Science from Newcastle University, along with other qualifications in construction and heavy vehicle mechanics.
