Amber Thorne is a Senior Geospatial Consultant at Ordnance Survey, specializing in providing expert geospatial technical advice and innovative solutions utilizing OS products and services. Previously, Amber served as a Geospatial Analyst at Rezatec, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective onboarding and contract management. As an Earth Observation Specialist at Spottitt, Amber led technical efforts in developing services based on satellite imagery and utilized Python for algorithm creation. Earlier in career, Amber worked as an Assistant Transport Planner at Vectos Microsim, contributing to transport model development for various infrastructure projects. Amber holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and a Bachelor of Science in Geography, both from the University of Portsmouth.
