Mike Hudgell

Mike Hudgell's work experience starts with their current position as a Principal Data Architect and Data Scientist at Ordnance Survey since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for designing geospatial data pipelines, defining data architecture for machine learning, and shaping the data architecture for data science and MLOps.

Before their current role, Mike worked at ADMIRALTY Maritime Products & Services from 2006 to 2022. Prior to that, Mike worked as a Technical Project Manager at AOL in 2005, Head of Development at MM Teleperformance UK in 2004, Head of Development and Product Development Lead/TDA at Contact 24 from 1996 to 2004, Software Architect at EHS Brann in 1995, Microsoft Consultant at NatWest Insurance Services Limited in 1994, Senior Analyst/Programmer at Centrefile from 1991 to 1994, Senior Analyst/Programmer at Merchant Investors in 1990, and Senior Analyst/Programmer at Blue Chip Microsystems Limited from 1986 to 1990.

Mike Hudgell earned a Master's Degree in Data Science from The University of Dundee from 2014 to 2016. Mike also obtained various vocational qualifications and professional training from 1987 to 2016. Additionally, Mike has additional certifications in Mathematics for Machine Learning, Learn to Program, Python 3, R Programming, and TOGAF from institutions such as Imperial College London, Johns Hopkins University, University of Toronto, and The Open Group.
