Jean-François Hamelin is an experienced educator and photographer, currently serving as an Enseignant at Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne and Cégep André-Laurendeau, specializing in arts, letters, and communication with a focus on photography and design. Since 2018, Jean-François has been a board member for the Festival des Rencontres internationales de la photographie en Gaspésie and a cultural mediator at Musée McCord Museum, conducting workshops related to photography and photobooks. An independent photographer since 2008, Jean-François has collaborated with various institutions, including Radio-Canada, Université de Montréal, and Université du Québec à Montréal. Jean-François holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Concordia University and has academic credentials in architecture and visual arts.
