Taybo Barrientos

Taybo Barrientos is an experienced design engineer specializing in automotive parts for high-performance cars, with a career spanning over a decade in motorsport engineering. Currently serving as a Design Engineer at Oreca since May 2021, Taybo previously held prominent roles including Senior Design Engineer at McLaren Automotive Ltd and Ingeniero de diseño at Hyundai Motorsport GmbH. Earlier experience includes positions with Caterham F1 Team, Ferrari, and junior roles at Nova Engineering Motorsport and Scuderia Vittoria. Taybo holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Public University of Navarre, a Master’s Degree in Motorsport Engineering from Epsilon Euskadi & Mondragon University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Performance Car Technology from the University of Wales, Wrexham.
