Paloma Sparks

Paloma Sparks is an accomplished legal and policy professional with extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Currently serving as COO and General Counsel at Oregon Business & Industry since May 2023, Paloma has held various leadership roles within the organization since 2018, including Vice President of Public Policy and General Counsel. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Government Affairs and General Counsel at Oregon Resource Association, Legislative Director at the Bureau of Labor and Industries, and Policy Advisor to Senator Lee Beyer. Additionally, Paloma has worked as Legislative Liaison for the Oregon Department of Transportation and held a Legislative Assistant position in the State Legislature. An alumnus of the University of Oregon School of Law, Paloma also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
