Aurora Hernandez

Aurora Hernandez is an accomplished teaching artist and professional actor with extensive experience in theater and costume design. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist at Oregon Children's Theatre since September 2022, Aurora develops and teaches theater curriculum for young artists while promoting cultural awareness, communication, and personal growth. Concurrently, Aurora holds roles in costume design at Artists Repertory Theatre and as a professional actor with multiple companies, showcasing versatility in performance and team management. Previous roles include digital media coordination and teaching artistry at various theaters, with a strong educational foundation from the University of Portland, where a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre was earned. Aurora’s work is characterized by a commitment to inclusivity, creativity, and the promotion of self-expression among participants.
