James Carlson

James Carlson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare and government relations. Currently serving as Managing Partner at BR Strategies, LLC since January 2021, Carlson also holds positions as a Member of the Board of Directors for both Oregon Health & Science University and Incite Strategic Partners, LLC. As a Senior Advisor at Oregon Health Care Association since February 1994, Carlson has previously filled roles as President and CEO and Vice President of Government Relations. Additionally, involvement includes Advisory Board Member at Avamere Family of Companies and a Member of the Board of Directors at Enviral Tech. Early career experiences encompass serving as Associate Director of Government Relations for the Oregon Medical Association and as a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives.
